For more than 13 years, I have been part of an experienced photo and video team documenting the OECD International Transport Forum (ITF), one of the world's leading transport policy conferences.Over three days, transport ministers, policymakers, and mobility experts from more than 70 countries come together to discuss the future of transportation, infrastructure, and sustainable mobility. Working alongside four fellow photographers, we deliver more than 5,000 edited images, capturing keynote speeches, high-level discussions, networking events, and the people shaping global transport policy.

It brings together decision-makers from government, public administration, science and the digital economy to exchange ideas on digital transformation, new technologies and the future of government.Having photographed the Zukunftskongress for many years and across changing locations, I focus on what brings it to life: key moments on stage, lively discussions, spontaneous encounters and the energy that comes from bringing people and ideas together. Discussions turn into sketches, Design Thinking leads to prototypes, and sometimes an unexpected thought becomes the idea everyone wants to explore.As a photographer, I never quite know what will happen next. I follow the energy, the curiosity and the process—and capture those moments when people stop talking about what could be and simply start creating it.
